While there have been some videos and reports on Ukrainian authorities taking in individuals and detaining them, there is some context lacking in this claim. Yes, men are being detained, but it’s because they meet draft requirements, so that can’t be claimed as kidnapping. Ukraine is currently under wartime law. The user who originally posted the claim on Bluesky has similar posts and even a video of what seems to be Ukrainian authorities forcefully detaining a man. Still, there is little to no content on whether he is being kidnapped for war or just being abused by the police. It seems that to evaluate the claim at hand properly, we must look into sources and do our own research regarding it.
