Keith Edwards is an online persona who digitalizes democratic campaigns by posting content on various platforms to criticize and "inform" his viewers on the republican agenda. In one of his more recently posted 7-minute-long videos, he claimed that "Epstein lawyer found dead as creepy photos leak."
This claim is exaggerated to the point of being false. To best contextualize this claim, Lannis Waters published an article on NBC News titled "Roy Black, lawyer who represented William Kennedy Smith and Jeffrey Epstein, dies at 80." In this article, the article affirms that Epstein's lawyer, Lannis Waters, died; however, it does not address the nature of how he died nor the way he was found. Additional sources, such as an article published by the New York Times, confirm the death of Epstein's lawyer and highlight that he was found in his home in Coral Gables, Fla. Finally, Adam Nossiter from the WLRN confirms that Black died from a "serious illness."
Edwards starts the video by sharing confirmation of Roy Black's death sourced by CBS Miami. This leads to Edwards describing the background information on Roy Black's accomplishments. Finally, He uses social media posts, specifically from X, to shift his line of reasoning from Epstein's lawyer to Epstein's relationship with Trump. Fundamentally, the claim that there are 'creepy photos leaked' of his body is entirely false. While the language of this claim may be inaccurate, it is highly possible that Edwards was referring to photos being leaked of Epstein and Trump after Black's death rather than photos being leaked of Black's death. This assumption is based on the shift in Edward's line of reasoning from Roy Blacks death to the following release of photos of Trump and Epstein.
