This claim is partially true, but misleading. While it is true that Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer (Defense attorney Roy Black) did pass away on Monday, July, 2025 inside his home in Coral Gables, there are no photos that have been leaked of his body (As of Wednesday, July 23).

The claim that Roy Black, lawyer of Epstien, passed away is true; but there has not been any "creepy" photos or reliable mentions of foul play. Black died at the age of 80 from an ongoing illness his law firm confirmed. He is recognized as of the greatest defense lawyers of his time with many prominent clients and cases. Most of the alleged "creepy" photos have come from unreliable sources on X (Twitter), Youtube, and Reddit. There has been no true evidence worth conspiracy like government involvement. For decades Roy was involved in law, over 50 years of defense cases and experience. With numerous accolades and reconigtion, it is unlikely that that someone of his stature who died in his home has any photos circulating.

Keith Edwards is an online persona who digitalizes democratic campaigns by posting content on various platforms to criticize and "inform" his viewers on the republican agenda. In one of his more recently posted 7-minute-long videos, he claimed that "Epstein lawyer found dead as creepy photos leak."

This claim is exaggerated to the point of being false. To best contextualize this claim, Lannis Waters published an article on NBC News titled "Roy Black, lawyer who represented William Kennedy Smith and Jeffrey Epstein, dies at 80." In this article, the article affirms that Epstein's lawyer, Lannis Waters, died; however, it does not address the nature of how he died nor the way he was found. Additional sources, such as an article published by the New York Times, confirm the death of Epstein's lawyer and highlight that he was found in his home in Coral Gables, Fla. Finally, Adam Nossiter from the WLRN confirms that Black died from a "serious illness."

Edwards starts the video by sharing confirmation of Roy Black's death sourced by CBS Miami. This leads to Edwards describing the background information on Roy Black's accomplishments. Finally, He uses social media posts, specifically from X, to shift his line of reasoning from Epstein's lawyer to Epstein's relationship with Trump. Fundamentally, the claim that there are 'creepy photos leaked' of his body is entirely false. While the language of this claim may be inaccurate, it is highly possible that Edwards was referring to photos being leaked of Epstein and Trump after Black's death rather than photos being leaked of Black's death. This assumption is based on the shift in Edward's line of reasoning from Roy Blacks death to the following release of photos of Trump and Epstein.

Roy Black, the defense attorney who represented Jeffrey Epstein, died at the age 80, due to a illness. Despite rumors saying he was killed due to these photos being leaked, https://apnews.com/article/roy-black-death-obituary-kennedy-trial-4f0986970685a19b780d0dab6ebd0df9 confirmed that Black “died of complications related to dehydration and kidney failure,” adding that there was “no indication of foul play or unexpected circumstances.” According to https://www.thedailybeast.com/jeffrey-epstein-lawyer-roy-black-who-knew-secrets-of-his-sweetheart-deal-dies/?utm_source=chatgpt.com, his partner in crime stated, “Roy had been battling a terminal illness for some time, and his passing was peaceful.” https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/epstein-lawyer-roy-black-dies-80-b2794268.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com emphasized that although Black's connection to the case drew attention, it had nothing to do with the case.
