The author seems to really dislike Taylor swift as a whole by mentioning how unoriginal she is by using repetitive history throughout her songs yet started the article stating she's the pop idol who just finished the second most grossing tour by any artist ever. This source has no sources to back up why Taylor Swift is a "bad artist" and seems to just have a very opinionated claim. He talked nothing about her as a person and what she does as an artist. The author claims she's unoriginal but is probably the artist of the decade with millions and millions of fans. I find this claim hugely  exaggerated and untrue with the lack of references and facts to back up his claim.

This claim was a really interesting one to come across for me because it immediately caught my attention. I’ve always enjoyed Taylor Swift’s music, but I can recognize that my own opinion is based on preference and not a fact. Art is subjective so what one person considers beautiful or creative might not resonate the same way with someone else. That’s why claims about whether an artist is “good” or “bad” are based on individual bias instead of an objective truth.

It's also really important to consider how an  artist’s success and cultural impact play a role in so many awards in multiple genres.When looking  deeper into this claim you’re able to find articles praising her success and calling her one of the greatest artists of our generation.  Her songwriting has also connected with millions of people, and is often praised for its storytelling. So while not everyone may enjoy her music, just calling her a “bad artist” overlooks all of her achievements. This claim really highlights how subjective opinions can sometimes be mistaken for facts in discussions about art.
