Claim: Your blood is always red, never blue as it may appear.

According to NPR, via
https://www.npr.org/sections/13.7/2017/02/03/513003105/why-do-many-think-human-blood-is-sometimes-blue, hemoglobin is the red blood cells that give blood its red color. However, many people think that un-oxygenated blood is be blue because of our blue/green tinted veins.

The reason our veins are blue, as described https://unitedveincenters.com/blog/why-are-your-veins-blue/#:~:text=The%20red%20light%20is%20absorbed,green%20veins%20from%20the%20surface., is because of the wayy our eye absorbs certain color wavelengths. Red gets absorbed by the skin more than blue, so we see the blue shine through our skin barrier. Both oxygenated and un-oxygenated blood is always red.

Claim: Coffee does not stunt your growth.

As defended by Harvard Health Medicine, https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/can-coffee-really-stunt-your-growth#:~:text=Separating%20Truth%20from%20Fiction,associated%20with%20loss%20of%20height)., coffee does not actually stunt your growth as often thought by the public. There was also the misconception that coffee causes osteoporosis (which is some cases affects the joints and can result in a shortened height if there is calcium deficiency), but there isn't any sustained research that proves a direct causation between coffee consumption and stunting or decreasing one's height.

Claim: Lifting heavy weights will not necessarily make you bulky.

According to Luke Brigg's article about debunking fitness myths, via https://drjohnrusin.com/five-female-fitness-myths-debunked-by-science/, lifting heavy weights does not automatically lead to a bulky physique.

There are  many factors that go into the process of muscle growth, including genetics, hormone levels and especially diet. Even with intense weight training, muscle growth can be inhibited small levels of testosterone (as in women) and insignificant protein intake.

In addition to an aligned diet and testosterone, heavy strength training can help build muscle but it will not consequentially make your bulky without a conscious effort in trying to do so.

Claim: Drinking cold water does not increase your metabolism enough to burn fat.

While consuming cold water requires your body to spend energy warming it up to match your body temperature, opting for water will not help you lose weight compared to drinking room-temperature water.

According to UAMS Health, drinking cold water will have your body burning roughly eight calories per glass. That would require 437 glasses of cold water to burn one pound of fat (3,500 calories).
