A viral post online claimed Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce gave $300K to save a child battling brain cancer, also promising $80M for an orphanage build. Yet Snopes checked things out, spotting zero proof they actually donated or spoke on it publicly. That tale popped up only on sketchy social feeds, never confirmed by trusted outlets.

Once seeing this post I determined it was an opinion and not a claim. Therefore, I decided to look into this topic myself and find out the facts. After reading the article provided and an article I found on my own, I became set on the fact that this is a false statement. This whole story was made up by AI and became a very popular and fast spread rumor. With that being said, here is a factual claim. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce did NOT donate 300,000$ to a child with cancer or announce an 80 million dollar plan to build an orphanage.
