This claim comes from a lawsuit that says a gynecologist at a military hospital secretly recorded patients during sensitive medical exams. The lawsuit also says the hospital had warnings about him from earlier situations, but didn’t take them seriously. These details match what reporters wrote, but it’s important to remember these are still allegations, not confirmed facts in court yet.

The claim makes it sound as if everything is fully proven, which isn’t exactly true. It’s still in the legal process, and investigations are ongoing. That said, the situation is serious, and the lawsuit does describe a pattern of ignored complaints that’s definitely worth paying attention to. It’s a good reminder that stories involving lawsuits always need extra context.

This claim is true, Dr. Blaine McGraw a gynecologist that was working for the U.S Amy was convicted with taking video and photos of 25 woman’s genitals during exams. Those 25 women were then contacted by Amy criminal investigators and were then asked to identify if they had recognized the women in said videos and photos Dr. Blaine McGraw had taken. The law suit also included allegations made against him included “ inappropriate touching, crude remarks, and unnecessary procedures during exams” stated in the article released by NBC. After the first lawsuit was conducted another 20 women came forth making the same claims against him. Investigators soon found thousands of photos and videos solidifying the claim and resulting in a suspension. Both Articles also mention how Dr.Blaine McGraw was still able to practice until further legal action was taken upsetting not only the public but disregarding his many victims.

This claim that “a military hospital gynecologist secretly filmed patients during exams and earlier complaints” proves to be true based on several credible reports and legal action being taken.  Multiple reputable news organizations like The Guardian, Fox News, KXXV local news, and military.com all report the same thing; that an Army OB-GYN has been accused by dozens of women who claim he secretly recorded them during gynecological exams without consent. Investigators have allegedly provided recovered photos and videos that were on the doctor’s phone. The doctor was also suspended and charged with multiple counts for indecent visual recording. The reports are all based on court filings, law enforcement investigations, and statements from military officials, and all of these have been verified claims; which therefore shows the claim to be rated as true rather than exaggerated or misleading.
