Morgan Wallen said "I ain't done nothing wrong" in newly released bodycam footage showing the moments before and during his arrest last year for throwing a chair off the roof of a Nashville bar.

The Metro Nashville Police Department released a video showing the lead up to Wallen's arrest on reckless endangerment charges, captured by multiple officers' body and cruiser cameras. The footage was released in response to a public records request from the Associated Press.

Beyond the AP and NBC News articles linked in the claim itself, other reputable sources have reported on this.

NPR's coverage of the event notes that "country music star Morgan Wallen was arrested on three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct early Monday in Nashville after he allegedly threw a chair from the rooftop of a bar Sunday night". Police footage published on Nashville local news station News Channel 5's YouTube channel shows Wallen interacting with the police and, around the 4:20 mark, saying "I ain't done nothing wrong," in the back of a patrol car.

According to the AP's follow-up coverage, Wallen "was sentenced to spend seven days in a DUI education center and be under supervised probation for two years".
