This is true, as reported on by numerous sources like Reuters, APWashington Post, among others.

From the BBC: "Charlie Kirk, an influential right-wing activist and a close ally of US President Donald Trump, was shot dead on Wednesday while speaking at an event at a university in Utah."

This statement is true according to sources such as Fox News and AP News. I found that Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th, 2025 at Utah Valley University. A quote from AP News states, "The assassin fired a deadly shot from a bolt action rifle at Kirk from about 400 feet (122 meters) away." Another quote from Fox News claims, "During an episode of "The Charlie Kirk Show," executive producer Andrew Kolvet explained that the Turning Point USA security team lacks the authority to oversee rooftops or areas beyond Kirk's immediate location at campus events", which proves that Kirk's security was unable to see, or stop, his assassination.

This is true, after examining Charlie Kirk shooting: A visual timeline of how it unfolded - ABC News. Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th during one of his events, at this event there was about 3,000 people in the crowed. The shooter only took one shot that landed in his neck, Charlie was then rushed out and taken to the hospital. After only a few hours Charlie was pronounced dead. Tyler Robinson was taken into custody only a day later and on September 16th he was charged with the murder of Charlie kirk Assassination of Charlie Kirk - Wikipedia sates that he will most likely getting the death penalty.

When using Assassination of Charlie Kirk - Wikipedia I have found some level of bias. For example, Wikipedia when talking about the content Charlie was discussing they claim the las thing he was speaking on was mass shootings which isn't necessarily true. Wikipedia sates "while engaging with an audience member about mass shootings in the United States" this is referring to the last thing Charlie was speaking on, however it is true that he has in the past publicly said that  “I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights" he talked about this in Charlie Kirk once said some gun deaths 'worth it' in order to have Second Amendment | Snopes.com. This entire situation has become extremely political, and this has led to lots of miss information and interesting takes.
